Christianity in Crisis Video of the Week

I am still trying to figure out how in the Word of God that this is worship... My conclusion, no matter how I look at it, this is not worship! Just because the name of Jesus and Lordy is mentioned, does not make it a biblical truth!





Where is the doctrine in this song? How is Christ's name being exalted? Are we supposed to address the Lord as "Lordy"? The amount of disrespect before a Holy God is staggering. Does not God demand in scripture how He is to be worshiped? Yes, in Spirit and in Truth! This in itself disqualifies this as being worship..

This video seems to be "culturally relevant" and cool for the youth.. But so are clubs! The actual "secular" version of this song is disgusting and this is brought in and repackaged as worship.

I long for the day when Christians will stand up and say enough is enough. We need to have some guts and make our worship jammed packed with biblical truth, reverence and keep it Christ Centered.

Does this make me angry? Yes, Yes, Yes...

We serve a Holy God and He will not be robbed of His Glory!
