Hillary Clinton to speak at Rick Warren's church !!!
Senator Hillary Clinton (D-New York) will join Rick Warren at his California church this month for an AIDS conference.
Warren says he has invited several other presidential candidates from both parties to attend his third annual Global Summit on AIDS, but Senator Clinton is the only one, so far, to confirm. According to a press release, others who have expressed interest and currently are dealing with scheduling issues include GOP presidential candidates Mitt Romney, Mike Huckabee, and Rudy Giuliani, and Democrats John Edwards and Senator Barak Obama (D-Illinois). ...
The man known by many as "America's pastor" is calling on Christians to join in the battle against the HIV/AIDS epidemic.
The popular evangelical leader is convening a global summit on AIDS and the Church featuring faith community leaders, politicians, and medical experts from across the United States.

Funny how politics use the church so much. If it's not the Republicans, now it's the Dems again. I'd rather have a unbeliever that rules well, than a believer that doesn't. I'm paraphrasing Martin Luther.
Look at our current President and how he fills his office with "yes" men and fires the ones that don't say yes. Crazy! Kinda remind me of a king that fired his dad's advisers and hired friends.
Many, many, many, evangelicals look to a christian government to save this land instead of the church being the church and preaching the Gospel.
The more the church gets involved with this gov, the more regulations the gov will put on the church.
Christians should serve in government, but if a unbeliever does it better. Then let them, because it's their vocation.
But many Evangelicals want the Government and church to be one. Sorta or really like radical Islam.
Yep, meshing with the Pagan's... Invite them in, let them sup with you.. Join in with them hand in hand. become co-laborers.. Is the drum beat.. Last time I checked with scripture, if you hang around dirt long enough you will get diry..
I totally agree with your statement, Ken "Many, many, many, evangelicals look to a christian government to save this land instead of the church being the church and preaching the Gospel."
It is sin to do otherwise !!!
Yeah, it's amazing when the church is really preaching that even the unregenerate are more restrained from walking deeper into depravity.
The church needs and must turn back to the Solas of the Reformation.
