Digestion or Indigestion - Here are scripture verses that Freewill Preachers like Dave Hunt can't digest or get indigestion from!!!

Romans 8:28-30 - For whom (Not- For What!) he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.

Romans 9:12-13 - And not only this; but when Rebecca also had conceived by one, even by our father Isaac; (For the children being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of him that calleth;) It was said unto her, The elder shall serve the younger. As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated.

(Freewill preachers can’t seem to tell me why God hated Esau…)

Proverbs 16:4 - The LORD hath made all things for himself: yea, even the wicked for the day of evil.

Romans 9:21 - Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour?

Romans 9:22 - What if God, willing to shew his wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction.

(Fitted - Katartizo - means fully accomplished they are fitted!)

Romans 9:23 - And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto glory,

Romans 9:24 - Even us, whom he hath called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles?
Romans 8:5-8 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they
that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.

Romans 3:10-12 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God. They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.

(If left to our own devices we would not seek after God, It is only by God's Grace and Mercy that we do...)

John 6:44- No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.

John 1:12-13 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

2 Thess 2:13 - But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth.

Ephesians 1:11 - In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will.

(Man does not determine his birth or salvation. It is not by our will !!!)

Acts 13:46-48 - Then Paul and Barnabas waxed bold, and said, It was necessary that the word of God should first have been spoken to you: but seeing ye put it from you, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, lo, we turn to the Gentiles.

For so hath the Lord commanded us, saying, I have set thee to be a light of the Gentiles, that thou shouldest be for salvation unto the ends of the earth.

And when the Gentiles heard this, they were glad, and glorified the word of the Lord: and as many as were ordained to eternal life believed.

(Only the ones who were ordained believed… Can’t seem to twist this one…)

Ephesians 1:3-11 - Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will. To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved. In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace; Wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence; Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself: That in the dispensation of the fullness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him: In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:

(These scriptures in Ephesians support the fact that salvation is the work of God’s hand and not our own…)

Isaiah 45:7 - I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.

("Ra" is the word for evil! This is the same word that is used in the tree of knowledge of good and evil! Take some time and look it up, don’t take my word for it) :)

1 Corinth 2:14 - But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
(The natural man cannot receive the things of God) “The man of the senses”

John 15:16 - Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.

Matt 7:13-14 - Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

James 4:4 - Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.

Luke 13:23-24 - Then said one unto him, Lord, are there few that be saved? And he said unto them, Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.

Romans 10:13-14 - For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?

(They must hear, they must believe. This is something God causes to happen in you first!)

This also is exactly why we must continue to preach Christ crucified, repentance, daily cross, death to self!!! We do not know who His elect are…how shall they hear without a preacher...

1Cor 1:26-29 For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called: But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to naught things that are: That no flesh should glory in his presence.

Luke 10:21-22 - In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in thy sight. All things are delivered to me of my Father: and no man knoweth who the Son is, but the Father; and who the Father is, but the Son, and he to whom the Son will reveal him.

(You mean God actually hides his word from some! Yes!)

"If for some reason you are still suspicious" Here is another one...

Matthew 13:11-12 - And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables? He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.

(The truth of God is not revealed to all.)

John 9:31 - Now we know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth his will, him he heareth.

(Hmmm sinners prayer?)

Luke 6:26 - Woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of you! for so did their fathers to the false prophets.

(For some reason the Mega Preachers frown on this scripture)

Acts 14:22 - that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.

Philippians 1:29 - For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake;

2 Timothy 3:12 - Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.

(Would people in our modern day churches stick around very long if we preached on these 3 verses, it's defidently is not comfort food.)

Maybe we can remove these scriptures by cutting them out of the King James Bible as a form of anti-acid for these preachers. Or have they been removed allready?

I pray that these verses will get you to think a little. Please take the time to read the chapters that these verses are in so you get the full context of the verse. Very important... :)

Two more that I have found in my studies that I didn't see in your list that kinda stuck out to me...

“for it is God who works in you to will and to act according to his good purpose.” (Phil. 2:13)

“In him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will, ” (Eph. 1:11)

Yes, great verses. The ones posted are only a fraction of a list that I have compiled... My hands were hurting by the time I was done with these..LOL But yes, the verses you site are more evidence that God's will is actively working in our lives according to His good purpose...

Amen
